Opportunities for excellence.

The Mazenod approach to sport balances maximum participation with opportunities for excellence. Each student spends one afternoon per week either playing internal house sport or representing the college against other Associated Catholic Colleges ACC boys’ schools.

Beyond these competitions, the College has a nationally recognised volleyball program and an emerging elite badminton program, which offer students the chance to play state and national competitions. Students in these programs train with dedicated elite coaches. The college is also regularly represented at a state level in Basketball and Soccer.

Mazenod students have access to outstanding sporting facilities, including a world class volleyball stadium, three indoor basketball courts, turf and synthetic cricket ovals, FIFA approved soccer facilities, four tennis courts, and dedicated spaces for table tennis, chess, and badminton.

We encourage you to spend some time exploring the wide range of sporting opportunities available to the young men at Mazenod College.
