The Accountant is a key member of the College Finance Team, reporting to the Director of Finance. The role is primarily responsible for end-to-end payroll, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time, with full compliance with statutory obligations, the Enterprise Agreement, and College policies.
The incumbent also supports month-end reconciliations, provides back-up for receivables and payables, and assists the Director of Finance with reports, audits, and budget preparation. Accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail are essential, with the role contributing to efficient financial operations that support the College’s strategic direction.
