Primary School Experience Day at Mazenod
On Thursday 14 May, Mazenod College welcomed prospective Grade 4 and Grade 5 students and their teachers from St Justin’s and St Simon’s for our Primary School Experience Day.
The day gave visiting students an opportunity to explore life at Mazenod through a range of activities and experiences across the College.
The morning began with a welcome in the Lecture Theatre, including an Acknowledgement of Country, prayer, student leadership introductions, a musical performance, and a short question and answer session with Mazenod students.
Students then explored parts of the campus before taking part in activities across Science and Sport. The Science sessions included a diseases experiment and bacteria model activity, while the sport sessions gave students the chance to try volleyball, table tennis, and basketball.
After lunch on the Soccer Oval, students visited the Robotics Showcase in the Founders Courtyard before gathering in the Chapel for prayer and farewell.
Thank you to the students and staff from St Justin’s and St Simon’s for joining us, and to the Mazenod staff and student leaders who helped guide the day. It was a positive opportunity to welcome future families and share the learning, community, and spirit of Mazenod College.
