Overseas Music Trip

Mazenod College Year 8, 9 & 10 students flew to Auckland, New Zealand to participate in the Rhapsody Rotorua Music Festival. They were joined by students from Iona College Brisbane and for three days the Mazenod-Iona Concert Band competed with other secondary schools in front of a panel of judges. At the conclusion of the festival they took home a silver plaque for their performance and a trophy to acknowledge their participation.


Greenhouse and Garden Project Officially Opened

A new greenhouse and garden project was officially opened by the College Rector Fr. Kevin Davine OMI. It was built and maintained by C.A.P.E (Course for Assessment and Practical Experience) students under the guidence of the Science teacher, Mr Ogeil.
