Mazenod Old Collegians’ Cricket Club (MOCCC)

The Mazenod Cricket Club was formed in 1974 by then Principal of the College, Fr Kevin Davine. He foresaw that the friendships of school days could be further developed through remaining aligned with the college through sport. 43 years later and the cricket club has grown from strength to strength. This is evidenced by the number of teams and the state of the art facilities accessible to its players. Currently the club boasts 2 Veterans sides for over 40’s, 2 senior turf sides, 1 senior synthetic side, 3 junior synthetic sides and 2 junior turf sides. The club plays under the Eastern Cricket Association, Ferntree Gully District Cricket Association and Inner Southern East Cricket association. In addition the club also provides kids under 10 access to the Milo cricket program. The club encourages all players to participate and have a go. During October to March you will see players of all ages practicing their skills and games are played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
