Mazenod Old Collegians' Association

The Mazenod Old Collegians'  Association (MOCA) was formed at the end of 2010 with a view to provide opportunities for former Mazenod College students to maintain contact with each other and with the College as they make their way through life.

The Assocation is run by a Committee made up of former students who have committed themselves to building membership numbers from students who have graduated from Mazenod in the past as well as providing opportunities for the re-establishment of connections which may have faded over the years.

The Association, known as MOCA, has instituted a series of Insight Nights, at which former students of the College present aspects of their work to the wider Mazenod Community.  The nights provide  a meeting point for old boys to return to the College as well as showcasing the skills and expertise which our men gain in the wider world after their school years.

MOCA also sends out regular e-bulletins which contain snippets of news from the lives of past students and information about activity at the College.  The Association has committed funds, on behalf of Old Collegians, to charitable endeavours.  The establishment of MOCA allows Mazenod old boys the opportunity to help others as part of a large group of like-minded individuals.

MOCA also hopes to become active in the area of mentoring current students as well as younger old boys of the College by creating networks of willing old boys in a wide range of professions, trades and other areas of expertise.

It is envisioned that MOCA will work with the current Old Collegian Sporting Clubs for the benefit of all.  It is also ready to assist in the establishment of new clubs involving Mazenod alumni.

The Association is open to all of Mazenod's past students as well as their parents and other friends of the College.

Any person wishing to join the Association should contact Matt Johnson  mjohnson@mazenod.vic.edu.au or Tina Giacco ngiacco@mazenod.vic.edu.au
