The word “Liturgy” refers to the “work” of the Church. Primarily these liturgies refer to the Sacraments, the Mass and other public acts of devotion.  Indeed,  the “work” of the Church is to bring about an awareness of the presence of God.

Our Liturgical Life at the College is the most obvious and concrete expression of our Catholic Culture. In these liturgies we express who we are. We have aimed for full, active and conscious participation. The liturgies celebrated include: Year 12 Retreat, Inaugural Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Ash Wednesday, Mission Action Day, Sacrament of Reconciliation, Founder’s Day, Year 11 and 12 Pentecost Mass, Mary’s Feast of the Assumption, Year 10 Work Experience Mass, Advent Sharing Mass, Requiem Mass for Old Boys and the Year 12 Graduation as well as daily Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday. Each of these liturgies are great treasures of Mazenod as we celebrate our faith.
